1st NC Airsoft Team Constitution


Article 1 “Team eligibility”

All players regardless of rank, experience, MOS, Race, Gender, Creed, Nationality, or religion are authorized to fill any position on the team. Rank will not be a factor during game play or within the organization except for safety issues. In this case the highest ranking individual will take charge to resolve the unsafe act or confrontation between players within the team.

Article 2 “Team Members”

A member of 1st NC supports the direction of the team, participates in the yearly elections (voting or running for office), and supports or participates in the command structure to the best of their ability to achieve the mission at hand.

Article 3 “Team Leader”

The position of Team Leader is a field commander and must have the majority of training completed and be in good status with the team.

Article 4 “Discipline”

The 1st NC Command Group will immediately address any misconduct of its members including, but not limited to:

•unsportsmanlike conduct
•damage to equipment
•damage to property
•damage to local wildlife
•instigating attacks not related to game play on other players
•participating in attacks not related to game play to other players
•not adhering to field or home team rules and policies
•harassment of team members or members of the airsoft community

For serious infractions, each member of the Command Group will have one vote to decide each issue addressed. For each measure to pass, a majority of votes is required by the Command Group.

All administrative issues regarding the expulsion of a player from the team will require the following:

1)A clear cut case that the member has become a danger to the other players of the team by performing a dangerous and unsafe act with knowledge to the fact.

2)Player has been caught cheating multiple times and his or her integrity has been compromised.

3)Stealing or destroying other players items

4)Physical fighting of any kind

5)Any racial, slanderous, or gender based comments towards individuals

6)Failing to comply with safety standards after being corrected on multiple occasions

7)Not acting as a team player but as a loner, disregarding team events, command, and training

8)Three consecutive warnings for the same infraction whether minor or major

When a case is made the team members will convene along with the offender and review the case brought against him or her. After this the defendant will have an opportunity to defend his or her self and describe why they should be allowed to continue to play on the team. After this the team will vote to keep or recommend expulsion of the player in question. A majority vote is required in order to recommend expulsion of the player.

Team commanders hold the ability to give a "warning" to a team member for any actions deemed inappropriate but is not listed above. If the member receives three warnings they are immediately on suspension until the team can vote on whether or not to dismiss them.

Article 5 “Professional Values”

All members of the 1st NC will adhere to the utmost professional values at all times. Members will represent the team on and off the field. All article legal offenses will ban the player from all team exercises for a period of 45 days. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Article 6 “Amendments and additions to the constitution”

All amendments and additions to the constitution will be modified by members of the Command Group on a yearly basis at the first month of the new year. For each addition or amendment to the constitution the measure must pass with a majority vote by the Command Group.

Article 7 “Amendments and additions to the testing material”

All amendments and additions to the testing material will be modified by members of the Command Group on a yearly basis at the first month of the new year. For each addition or amendment to the testing material the measure must pass the with a majority vote by the Command Group.

Article 8 “Officer Core”

The position of CO, XO, and LT are decided at the beginning of every year. The CO, and XO both run for office, and the position of LT is decided by the CO and XO. The position of CO is a full time position, XO is a part time position as well as LT. The LT enforces the direction set forth by the CO and XO.


*Harassment being defined as singling out someone for verbal abuse that is perceived as being threatening or demeaning
